Dermal Fillers / Toxins
“Toxins” and “Dermal Fillers” are general names for the variety of injectables that we use to help you look younger. In the beginning of the TV show, trademark names couldn’t be used, so these generic names were substituted to describe the two types of injectables.
They allow us to “sculpt” a natural, more beautiful look and can even create a Liquid Facelift using these products.
What is a “Toxin”?
Toxins on the market are BOTOX®, Dysport®, Jeaveau, and Xeomin®, although Toxin is really a misnomer. They are not toxic, and contrary to the jokes on sitcoms, they don’t have to prevent you from making normal facial expressions.
These injectables work on wrinkles that are caused by muscle contractions. They reduce the activity of the muscle, relaxing it so that the skin also relaxes and smoothes the line or wrinkle.
We always use toxins in a smart way so that your face is still flexible. A frozen face never looks natural. Movement is youth!

What is a “Filler”?
When we age, we tend to lose volume, especially in the face. Dermal fillers restore that lost volume, filling in the crevices and smoothing the skin so that lines and wrinkles are improved or disappear. They can also “prop up” sagging areas.
Sometimes called facial fillers, these products aren’t restricted to the face. They can also be used on your neck, hands, ear lobes, and other areas to restore volume and reduce wrinkles.
Using several syringes of filler and adding in a toxin, we can subtly contour and lift your face in a Liquid Facelift that could postpone the need for a surgical face lift or brow lift.
